Roads and sewers construction forms a major part of J Hughes Construction and that makes us a favourite with clients.

Recent schemes include major infrastructure works at Hatfield Colliery for Powerfuel at Doncaster(Britains newest deep mining colliery). This scheme has included construction of deep water abstraction wells(12m deep)foul pumping stations attenuation pipes and basins. With our experience we can offer advice on drainage solutions and attentuation schemes such as S.U.D.S.(sustainable urban drainage systems.)

We are also Constructionline registered and undertake Section 278 Highway works on behalf of Local Authorities and drainange works for Water Authorities. Also we are able to offer our clients management solutions when constructing pumping stations including the mechanical and engineering works to final commissioning.
